Franki.
Receptionist and voicemail, in one

Franki answers when you can't.

You're with a customer, in a meeting, driving between sites, or just heads-down on the work in front of you. The phone rings. You can't get to it. Franki does, picks up in your business's name, takes the enquiry like a proper receptionist would, and texts you the summary the second the caller hangs up.

It's the receptionist you don't have and the voicemail your customers will actually leave a message on. Never lose another lead to a missed call.

Mid-task

Busy, phone ringing

You're with a customer, on-site, in a meeting, driving. The phone rings and you can't reach it without stopping what matters. Franki picks up, takes the enquiry, and it lands on your phone as a text by the time you're free.

After hours

Evening and weekend enquiries

The customer who was thinking about you at 9pm on a Sunday. Franki takes their details, you call them back Monday morning with their name and the exact thing they asked about already in front of you.

Peak overflow

When it's rammed

End-of-quarter push, seasonal surge, the day the newsletter went out. Phone rings ten times an hour. Franki handles every one, you get one tidy round-up at the end of the day.

How it works

Set up in five minutes, live by the end of the week.

01

Forward your line

Every UK mobile network supports forward-when-busy and forward-on-no-answer as toggles you set once. Point it at your dedicated Franki number. Your customers keep dialling the number they know.

02

She answers as you

"Hello, this is [your business], we can't get to the phone right now, can I take a message for you?" Warm, unhurried, honest about being an AI. Trained on the questions your customers actually ask.

03

You get an SMS

Within a minute of the caller hanging up: name, phone, what they wanted, when. Everything you need to call back at your first free moment. No voicemail to listen to, no missed-call guesswork.

Who it's for

Any small business where a missed call is a missed customer.

Sole traders and one-person operations. Family businesses. Small offices where whoever's nearest picks up the phone and today nobody's nearest. Home-service tradespeople, salons, clinics, studios, workshops, letting agents, small law and accountancy practices, tutors, coaches, consultants, mobile professionals of every stripe.

Anywhere the difference between answering the phone and letting it ring out is a customer either kept or lost. If that's you, Franki is built for you.

Private by design

Your customers' calls stay yours.

Recordings are encrypted at rest, UK-hosted, GDPR-compliant. You see structured summaries, never the raw transcript. Nothing is used for training, nothing is shared.

Franki always identifies herself as an AI on first pickup. That protects your reputation, and it's what the ICO expects. No caller ever thinks they're talking to a human pretending to be your receptionist.

Delete any call, or the whole account, any time.

Questions, answered

The things people ask before signing up.

How is this different from voicemail? +

Voicemail is a dead-end. Most customers hang up as soon as they hear the beep, and the ones who do leave a message ramble past the useful bit or forget to leave a callback number. Franki is a real conversation: she greets the caller in your business's name, answers what she can, asks the follow-up questions a receptionist would, and packages the whole thing as a tidy SMS to you. It's voicemail your customers will actually complete, plus a receptionist doing the triage.

How does Franki know what to say when the phone rings? +

You give her a short brief when you set up. Your business name, what you do, your usual hours, the questions people commonly ask (pricing, availability, where you're based). Franki uses that as her script, answers in your tone, and knows what she can and can't promise on your behalf.

Do I have to change my phone number? +

No. Your customers keep dialling the number they already know. You set your carrier to forward-when-busy or forward-on-no-answer to a dedicated Franki number. Every UK mobile network supports this, it's a five-minute setup, no phone system to replace.

How quickly do I get the summary? +

Within a minute of the caller hanging up. SMS to your mobile with the caller's name, phone, what they wanted, and any dates or specifics they mentioned. Ready to call back at your first free moment.

Does Franki claim to be me, or a human? +

Never. Franki identifies herself as an AI assistant on first pickup, on every call. That protects your reputation and it's what the ICO expects.

What about privacy? Are calls recorded? +

Recordings are encrypted at rest, UK-hosted, GDPR-compliant. You see summaries only, never the raw transcript. Delete any call or the whole account at any time.

Can Franki book appointments in my calendar? +

Not yet, and I'll be honest about that. Right now she takes the enquiry and hands it back to you so you decide the slot. Direct calendar integration is on the roadmap, currently we ship the message-taking version because the SMS-summary loop is 90% of the value for 10% of the complexity.

How much does it cost? +

£10 a month. Includes a dedicated UK number, unlimited calls, and an SMS summary to you after every call. Cancel any time from your account.

Never miss another booking.

Twenty minutes on a call. We'll talk through your setup, hand you a Franki number, and walk you through pointing your line at it. Live by the end of the week.
